I've been using AV4 for a little over a year now. I've got to say it was the best money I've spent with Avon so far. Then I upgraded to the professional tools, and that only increased the value and usefulness of the program. My wife offered to create me an Access database for me to work with what I needed. Once she saw how well the program worked she told me to spend the money, it would take her a month or more to make a program to do what AV4 does. It is very user friendly, I'm an PC tech by trade, and it took me no time to understand, my wife is not that savvy, and it didn't take her long to understand how to operate the program if she needed to do something in it when I wasn't home. The creator of the program is to be commended on his hard work, and the wonderful and quick response to any problems or suggestions, that are made.
I've recommended AV4 to many reps including my up line who are using the Avon provided program, and many have taken me up on it and are using it now themselves.
Dear friends, After considering and consulting as to how to more easily organize my 1 year old Avon business, I was directed toward AV4. The web site was easy to navigate. The download was a snap, installation was simple, the use was so easy compared to the online ordering at Avon, and the upload, well, I did have to have a little help to understand step-by-step. My wife and I very much appreciate this product - we just finished our first campaign using it, and it has improved many facets of our operation. Your automated order submission feature saved us hours of work and improved the accuracy of our order (late night sessions tend to be error prone). We did in 10 minutes or so what normally takes hours. My wife couldn't be happier. The many features are proving to be useful and support our business processes.
The difference between this product and others we have looked at is in the way it seems to reflect an understanding of the needs of this business - the AVON business. We look forward to using new features as you develop them.

I love the program. When I first started selling Avon I bought it because I had hopes of my customer base growing and wanted to be prepared. It was the only software that I found that was easy and inexpensive to use. There is a learning curve, but its not a high curve. Once you get the hang of moving through the screens and also realize the capabilities of the program you will love it too.
Today, I'm not sure what I would do without the program. The eRep site doesn't compare to what AV4 does for me. Its really hard to explain all the wonderful things about it. Just start with it. Put your customers in, enjoy the ease of invoicing from your computer and keeping up with your inventory (if you carry one). I love the inventory feature because I suffer of old timer's disease (senior moments LOL) and can't remember if I have something on hand. I don't keep a large inventory, but AV4 does save me a lot of money by alerting me to products ordered that I already have on hand.
Its also nice when taking orders over the telephone. I can type in their information while talking to them. No more pieces of scrap paper and the amount of order forms I use has dropped tremendously! It has helped me to conquer the paper tiger - or at least tame it quite a bit.
The databases that you can purchase from Holly for AV4 are so inexpensive compared to what other software companies charge. They aren't necessary, but a huge convenience for me. I can't imagine the time it would take for me to prepare a database (complete) myself. Its also nice to have even though my customers don't order a lot of different items, but sometimes they surprise me and order something off the wall from the norm. Its wonderful having the previous campaign lookup for lower pricing.
I hope this helps. Maybe others can post some other wonderful features of the program. I am just remembering back when I first started and how much easier it made my life! I bought it a little less than a year ago, and use it daily.

Recently, I've come across a few other software programs out there for Avon reps and I just want say how grateful I am to have purchased the AV4 software instead! Nothing else compares! I don't know what I'd do without this awesome tool. All the support and feedback you provide just goes to show that you care about your work.

I recently purchased the full version of AV4 and just love it! I have over 80 customers and this program is wonderful for keeping track of them all. The reports you can generate are marvelous!
I am so bad with driving directions that I have added directions in the comments section for each customer and now they print on the customer invoices. How cool is that!
No more pad of paper here, excel worksheet there... I have so much more free time because this program has gotten me SO organized.

Thank you so much. I really do love this program. And the fact that you upgrade it periodically to improve it for us is great. I wish I had it years ago. I was so excited when Avon first came out with PC Avon and then when I found out how much it was and that Avon wanted to charge us every campaign for it, was a great disappointment. I'm so glad that I joined the Avon loop that I did, the reps there share the best information. This program was one the of best investments I've made in my business, no more filtering through paper receipts to find out what color lipstick, foundation, etc. the customer wants more of, but can't remember the color. And all the other benefits of it. Thanks again for all your help.

No request, questions, or anything this Sunday morning, just my sincere thanks for being you. You are such a unique individual and we all treasure you. You take our questions, requests and handle each one with the greatest ease and thought, and when we are not clear ask the right questions.
To those of us who have tried to explain something to other "service" personal anywhere know how hard this is to do. It is because you are so hands on, that this is possible, but I think it is an example that could and should be followed by others. The filtering process to save the ultimate problem solver time, I think most of the time does just the opposite.
What brings this to mind is I often have trouble forwarding my home phone to my cell, and have found a repairman at an office who should not be dealing with my problem who has found a "sticky switch" that needs to be manually pushed. Chet a "repairman" at the site has diagnosed this for myself and other, but the company won't recognize it as a problem. Chet gave me his pager number to contact. The first time I was without phone service for six hours waiting for a call back, and took another four or five the next day to luck onto Chet. He understands my problem of not being without phone service for several hours because his wife is an Avon ISR also. He said eventually because of his reporting that the switch had to be done manually so many times will result in the switch being replaced. But until it becomes "cost effective" the sticky switch has to be tolerated.
Just a note of thanks again to let you know that you are appreciated and you handle the "sticky switches" for us, often times before we even know we have a "sticky switch".

The AV4 is a COMPLETE CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM which will print invoices, labels, order summaries and campaign summaries as well as your inventory list. You can keep track of all your customers purchases and returns, notes and specials dates, keep track of ""points"" that a customer has earned for purchases if you set that up in advance. You can add messages to all or certain invoices, record payments, discounts and helper information. BASICALLY, it the best program out there. Some of the HELP screens are a little sketchy but if you go into each TAB and look around to each screen - it should be come very self evident that the program is capable of doing just about everything you need to run your business. Plus you can always come to this group (AV4Software Yahoo Users Group) for more information since somebody is almost always on here to answer the questions. The first place to set up would be your OPTIONS section - that has all your personal info, taxes, earnings level etc., then you can start adding your customers and their info.

I am a Director's Club member in Canada and could not work without AV4. The program is superior to any other I have looked at. Robert is the BEST technical support person in the world. Once you buy the program you download each campaign as it is posted on the AV4 website. I have not found the program to have any cons. I would highly recommend it to any AVON rep.

I help my wife out with her Avon business. I find your AV4 software a great tool for Avon Representatives to keep track of their orders. It is much to time consuming to try to do using the order books, especially as you gain more customers. Keep up the good work and feel free to use me as a satisfied customer.

I tried SmartShop before I found AV4 and this is what happened to me, every time I tried to upload their new database that you had to have each campaign and they charge you for, it crashed my program. I could never get it to work properly. At that time it was DOS based which is a pain because everything is windows based now. It cost more than AV4 and the databases were pricey too and you had to purchase them so many campaigns in advance.
I started looking and found AV4, instantly Av4 was downloadable, all upgrades were free, no databases to buy unless I want to from Holly and best of all it was under $40.00. SmartShop may have little perks however, AV4 is by far the best program on the market to support our Avon business. I went from 5,000 in sales in 2000-2001 cycle to 27,000 for 2001-2002 and this year I have sold 35,000 and will make Rose Circle. I credit Av4 with keeping me organized and professional in appearance to my customers.
To anyone thinking of using the AV4 software - STOP thinking and START using. I am a Unit Leader and I also do Fund-raisers. I just did a $2000 + fund-raiser with less than a month of planning and I entered it on the AV4. I can not say how much this kept me organized!!!!! I was able to print reports for the group leader. Along with I was able to adjust the percent the kids got toward their "fund". (If a kid did not sell as much they did not make as much). Not only is the program easy, and user friendly, the customer service is OUTSTANDING. If you have a question, it is answered VERY promptly. Thank you for helping my business grow!

I absolutely LOVE this software. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Since I have had it I have been telling every single rep I know!! I tell EVERYONE to purchase it. I posted on the AVON bulletin Board at avon.com to get it I tell my downline and my upline--- it's fantastic and the perfect price! I can even deal with the bugs (while waiting for patches). It is so nice to have someone listen to your needs but for you to implement the thought so quickly is just incredible!!! I have recently purchased your AV4 software and love how easy it is. I also love that it was only $39.95! I have been paying for being an Avon e-Representative for just about a year now. As you know, that means I have been spending $7.50/campaign for basically the same thing your product does. And your product does it better - giving me more reports and information that their system ever did.
I downloaded the latest version of AV4 and, as usual, I love the improvements in the search ability! Please keep me in mind if you EVER need a great reference for this program - It has made my Avon life so much easier!! Thanks a bunch!
I just used the AV4 program to do C-12 and I'm going to be a lifer for sure to both Avon and this wonderful program. I cannot tell you the time saved and the organizational value of this program. This cost $40 and was as easy as giving my credit card - I had my code emailed in less than 5 minutes and was up and running!!! It was awesome!!! For C-13 I'm doing all my orders on the program and goodbye paper list!! Yes I'm backing up on disk!! I can't believe I can keep an actual inventory list - what a blessing!! As you may have guessed, I'm a bit excited but then Avon does that to me anyway!! Keep Selling!!!
Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I filled in my first purchase order with your software and used the "Order Summary" to do it. How easy and quick! Usually it takes me over 2 hours to fill out my P.O. and last night it couldn't have been an hour and I was done. Thank you for such a great package, I'm sure glad I ordered it! It makes my life a lot easier.
I wanted to thank you for sending the AV4 software so speedily after I ordered. I received it in time to use it with campaign 8 which I was dreading writing out by hand. I love it! I am more than pleased with the results I have experienced. It's the easiest to understand software I have ever used! I only wish I had found it 4 years ago so I wouldn't have all these boxes of paperwork stored away.
I use AV4. This program will print up orders (as many pages as are necessary or just 2 per page if they are short ones). It automatically does the 25 cents and taxes for you, however, you can turn this feature off per order for those special circumstances. It will give you a per campaign print out of who ordered, or a fact sheet on your whole year. It lets you mark customers as active, closed, or delete them, then you can print labels or a list of customers either all or just the active, or closed. It prints them by street!!! Great for doing a quick drop! There is a place to add in expenses and amt due per campaign. I know I am missing some stuff. But the thing I LOVE is that you can inventory your stock on hand then when you do your next order and you go to print it up (it will do it by page #'s easy to do PO) it will tell you what items ordered you have available in stock! I don't know how many times I have been in a hurry on order day and didn't have time to cross reference this! TOO COOL!
I really like your system. I am a non-computer person and I found your system to be much easier to understand and use than the other system that I also tested.
I have been using AV4 for several months now and it has proven to be a dream come true!!!! I can quickly look up info for customers questions about billing, if I need an address or phone number, and it makes doing my PO much MUCH easier! If your not using Avon's system...or think the $10 per campaign is NUTS (my personal opinion...for myself, not anyone else)....then AV4 is GREAT!
